IP-Tools includes a wide set of tools that allows you to scan, monitor, and evaluate the performance of different network services and connections. You can also view information about your computer's hardware: OS, CPU, memory, route table, network interfaces, and modems. The advantage of IP-Tools is that you can access all of its tools from his main window instead of using the command line interface or opening different windows. The tools can be accessed in two ways: through the buttons located at the top and from the tabs located at the bottom. If you use a new tool you can recall the tool previously executed tool. You can view in real-time the information of the current accessed ports; view information of the NetBIOS, SNMP protocols; show the shared resources on your network as such as shared printers; resolve host names, shows opened ports, and ping a selected range of IP addresses; scan UDP based services; trace the hops that your computer takes to connect to a specific host on the internet; obtain information from the Network Information Center about some site; synchronize the timer of your computer from external time-servers; log on to remote computers through telnet; verify connections of remote computers or routers; and receive SNMP Trap messages.
